Spring is here.. Flower Power!!

N, R and S have started working with an Arts and Crafts teacher (Miss A) on a weekly basis. They are thoroughly enjoying every bit of it and their teacher is wonderful! She has some kind of patience, I must admit!!

In anticipation of spring, the kids decorated some pretty colored pots with glitter and stickers. Then they potted some seasonal spring flowers and attached a little ribbon to finish their creativity. It kept them busy for about an hour.

Planting time~

Target dollar spot has some great gardening supplies to welcome spring. I picked up some soil pellets (what a neat idea) and some herbs and a pot to get the kids busy for yet another project. They were excited to see the magical pellets turn into soil within seconds. That was definitely the highlight of this activity!
