Another use for those Paint Chips

We had picked up some paint chips and samples from Home Depot and this is what we ended up doing:

R's

U's

Ru and N are still working on theirs!!

R's Bug Catcher!

R has always been obsessed with a butterfly net and a box to keep critters and bugs. Finally I managed to get him a kit to make his own Critter Keeper. He was delighted! He started working on it right away!!

Yup, that's a moth! As per the rule, it was sent back to the 'free' within 15 minutes.

Painting this 'little' project would be the next 'big' project for R. One day.

S's Magic Painting

While the older kids were Foil Engraving, I decided to let S get her hands on a Magic Painting Sheet. I was pleased that she was getting the hang of it and was enjoying so I left the kids to do their stuFf while I went on to finish my chores..

Starting off..

Painting along..

Umm.. Oh hoo..

And here is the final result:

Fun with 'Flexa Fun'

I had been wanting the kids to try this 'Flexa Fun' for a while now but they always had 'other plans'. Finally they got their hands on it and they had so much fun making different things, I lost count.

R is enjoying photography lately and has officially taken over the job from my hands to capture all the fun things they make on the camera.

Here are some pictures that I found worth sharing..

Z sitting on her own now!

Have I  mentioned this to you yet that Z has started to sit independently now. MashaAllah there is a lot of progress with the therapy. She has started to use her hands a lot more and whatever she gets a hold of, she amuses herself and us by thrashing it from here to there.

Royal Ontario Museum - Canada

Casa Loma - Canada

Canada's Majestic Castle, Casa Loma reflects European elegance and splendour. The former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt, Canada's foremost castle is complete with decorated suites, secret passages, an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables, and beautiful 5-acre estate gardens. The tour was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much. You can read more about it HERE. Here are some pictures of the castle.
